Well not exactly, but I can pretend a little, right?
These shots are part of a series of portraits of NPR
This I Believe essayists called
THIS I BELIEVE REVEALED by photographer
Scott Indermaur, on display at the Newport Art Museum beginning this Friday night until May 20th. The pictures are accompanied by both the audio and printed essays they are meant to illustrate. (You can listen to my essay
here.) Want to check out the show? I do too! More details

PS. I vlogged my photo shoot. It isn't online yet, but stay tuned!

Love these photos of you! Even your hair is sculptural...
Wow! That's my most beautiful daughter, beauty inside and out!
You and your essay are beautiful. I never got to tell you that your first This I Believe essay (and hearing them on NPR) has led to other sparks, so to speak. I advise a college literary journal. I suggested that editors create a This I Believe section. They got permission and did, and the essays are being published in our journal next week. In fact, a student read one essay today at a poetry reading in honor of National Poetry Month. Thank you for being a big part of my/our inspiration!
Great photos!
Amy: I love the statement "You are not safe and you are not limited." Words of wisdom to pass on for sure! Thank you so much & know that you are an inspiration.
I listen to WRNI every day at work, and I heard this essay. I didn't even connect that it was YOU! Incredible essay, incredible photos. Thanks for having the courage to put your experiences out there for all of us.
