If it were the latter instead of the former, that would be quite the trip.Nikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15795554401570611521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19133339.post-1149685750742218652006-06-07T09:09:00.000-04:002006-06-07T09:09:00.000-04:00OK, I am the "bad" blogger/lurker from a previous ...OK, I am the "bad" blogger/lurker from a previous post, where I suggested that she take her time getting to know her new beau and his child before getting pregnant. I got slammed pretty quickly for my tone and for saying that she would become a mother figure as soon as she moved in with J~ and his son. I just want to say, I did not write the first feedback comment for the "Ten Thousand Feet" blog. I share this readers concerns in part, for sure, and there is something to be said for building a good foundation as opposed to just leaping over the waterfall. As the expression goes, pay now or pay later. But I do also acknowledge that it may work, he may be a good choice and there may be a happily ever after ... If I were to be honest, I would say I'd want her to delay getting pregnant and take her time adjusting to life with a new man and his son. Yes, it's not my life or my decision, but this is a public blog that invites feedback, and if she is going to post provocative material on a Website with an ability to receive comments, I think readers have a right to express concerns, respectfully.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19133339.post-1149650779243503472006-06-06T23:26:00.000-04:002006-06-06T23:26:00.000-04:00When I read this, it really hit home. Think long and hard about whether this person is the right one for you. It would be awful to discover later that you really jumped into things too quickly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
